The Body Farm

Eve Lockhart runs forensic research facility 'The Body Farm' studying the complex journey the body goes through as it decays. Eve and her team of scientists quickly discover that dealing with victims of crime is a lot messier than any of them expect.

The team discovers body parts on the estate of rich recluse Harold Penton, but they refuse to let Penton's reluctance to co-operate hinder their investigation.

The team investigates strange events on a trawler in a small fishing community. Crew member, Connor Ryan, is found dead. Skipper, Patsy Fay, and marine biologist Tom Wilkes are missing. Eve must discover who is telling the truth about Connor's death.

Eve and the team are called to a women's prison to carry out tests on the body of a girl who died in unusual circumstances. The body is badly bruised but Eve doesn't think that the death was caused by a fight.

The team investigates the death of prominent human rights lawyer Richard Warner, who died recently in a fire at his home. Hale suspects one of Warner's former clients of starting the fire.

The team investigates the death of a man from a travelling community. The community is very suspicious of the police and says they will deal with the man's death themselves.
