Former Bassmaster Classic champion and Angler of the Year now turned Bassmaster Host, Davy Hite, is a favorite of ZAFS. There have been some memorable trips in the past but this trip for Smallmouth in the deep, clear, cold, blue Michigan water may just be the best of them all.

Once a year Zona sneaks out onto a private lake to wreak havoc and who better to wreak said havoc with than pro angler Greg Hackney. Anytime Z and Hack get together, incredible albeit strange things happen and this one is sure not to disappoint.

Making his first ZAFS apperance, Texan Todd Castledine is a local tournament slayer. Let him loose on bass fishing sacred ground like Sam Rayburn and you know you are in for a T.I.M.E.. 

Thinking back to the couple of little dudes in the boat fishing for Bluegill not so long ago on ZAFS, it's hard to believe this is the last trip for Zona and his boys before they head off to college. If you were going to pick a Smallmouth fishing blowout to send them off, yeah, St. Clair is it.

One could argue that there is nothing better in Bass fishing than the calm, quiet, serene trance that a topwater bait popping across the surface brings. Except maybe the absolute explosion, violence, and chaos that follows when a slaunch decides to destroy said topwater.

That's not the case for Z as he tracks down some incredible bait forage of Bluegill and in turn finds their predators, in massive numbers.
