In its nearly thirty-year history, the all-boys Shirokin Gakuin High School has never had a female teacher. Now they are getting two. When the twenty-three-year-old Kumiko Yamaguchi is appointed as the new homeroom teacher of Class 3D, all the other teachers are aghast. After a series of purse snatching incidents occur near the school, the teachers wonder if anyone in Class 3D is the culprit. After all, Uchiyama is behind on his tuition and his mother has been working two jobs to make ends meet. In the midst of preparing for the midterm exams, Kumiko happens to learn about Shizuka's secret part-time job. If the school ever finds out, Shizuka could be fired. Kumiko is worried sick, but Shizuka is confident no one will ever know. Shin happens to learn Kumiko could be the next leader of the Oedo Family when he finds her lost cellphone. The Oedo Family begs him to keep it a secret, but Shin can use this information to his advantage. A competitive Kumiko is all fired up for the upcoming school sports competition. Kumiko has already put together a game-winning plan, but most of her students could care less. Kikuno is ready to leave for her overnight workshop when an unexpected visitor appears at the school. It is a surprise visit from her seven-year-old son, but she cannot look after him, so she entrusts him to Kumiko. Shirokin Gakuin High School is full of school spirit when their volleyball team makes it to the nationals. Kumiko is eager to join in the festive mood and suggests forming a cheerleading squad with Shizuka and Kikuno, but they turn her down. Kumiko finally gets to be alone with Mr. Shinohara! She is on cloud nine until she sees him with another woman. Heartbroken, Kumiko luckily gets a chance to go on a date with an elite, handsome teacher. However, her students think he is too good for her. Kumiko gets too emotional when she learns her students are at the police station. They are there to receive a commendation for capturing a wanted criminal. Kumai's father also gets a little carried away, prompting the embarrassed Kumai to lash out at him. Kumiko finds herself in a bind when a gossip magazine publishes an article outing her as the fourth generation leader of a yakuza group. The school is inundated with calls and Mr. Sawatari and Mr. Washio treat her coldly. ３学期の全ての授業を終え、卒業式まであと１０日となった白金学院高等学校。久美子は、進路が決まらない生徒が数名いるものの、落ちこぼれ揃いだった教え子たちがなんとか全員揃って卒業出来るとあって感無量だった。その頃、３年D組の生徒達は、久美子には内緒で卒業旅行として温泉へ行く計画を立てていた。参加するのは、大学合格が決まり両親と海外旅行に行くという南（石垣佑磨）を除く全員。一流大学のダブル合格を決めた慎、建築士を目指して工務店に就職する内山（小栗旬）、ラーメン屋を継ぐために調理師専門学校に進む熊井（脇知弘）らは、最後の思い出作りをしようと盛り上がっていた。©森本梢子／集英社　©NTV
