Gordon Ramsey's odyssey begins in the north, home to India's curry-house classics. On board an express train, he must cook for its passengers in the cramped pantry car before venturing into the jungle in search of a local tribe's favorite delicacy.

Gordon's taste for adventure has him in northeast India for the country's best-kept culinary secrets. While there, he joins a tribe once known for head-hunting, housewives competing to make the best dishes and food stalls that tempt the locals with curry.

Gordon heads south to coastal Kerala for the ultimate seafood curry, but in Tamil Nadu, he hits a meat-free zone and faces his biggest culinary nightmare. Then, he tries the high-octane sport of bullock racing before cooking for a star-studded dinner.
