The Legacy

One year has passed and a naming ceremony for Thomas’ and his young girlfriend Isa’s daughter, Melody, is imminent. In Thailand Emil is out on bail waiting for his case to come to a conclusion.

In the middle of an important art conference, Gro learns that Emil has been imprisoned. She contacts Frederik to get help, but Frederik hesitates because he still hasn’t forgiven Emil for his affair with Solveig.

Gro and Frederik have arrived in Thailand. They meet up with their Thai lawyer who has arranged a meeting with the prosecutor. At Grønnegaard preparations are made for an art expert to valuate Signe’s acquisition.

Thomas picks up Emil, Gro and Frederik at the airport together with Robert. Back home at Gro’s place, Robert notices the bruises on her neck after the episode with Frederik.

At Grønnegaard Signe is trying to save her farm. She has found a new buyer for next year’s hemp crop if she can afford to harvest it, but this means she has to sell her work of art.

Signe is busy at the farm and struggling to get the Grønnegaard clan to accept the new terms. Emil helps Thomas extend his shed to make room for Isa and Melody.

Gro is taking care of Thomas who is still in hospital. The siblings are now together at Grønnegaard, but their uncertain future is affecting them all.
