A few miles south of Los Baralies and just below the Hotel Punta Colorada is a little house that sits on a bluff overlooking endless miles of pure white sand beaches along the Sea of Cortez that are home to the largest schools of roosterfish in the world. Join us as we do battle with a few marlin before heading into the shallows for some unreal fishing on the roosters.

Owner/Operator Tommy Rothery of the beautiful 86-foot Polaris Supreme was the first skipper to introduce skiffs to the long-range fleet. Join us as we chat with Tommy about how the skiffs came about and why, before jumping onboard for some spectacular battles on the big yellowfin at the Revillagigedo Islands located 1000 miles below the boarder and 450 miles SW of Cabo San Lucas.

Part 2 of our long-range skiff fishing excursion with Owner/Operator, Tommy Rothery on the Polaris Supreme picks up right where we left off fishing the wahoo and big yellowfin at the Revillagigedo Islands, Mexico. The title just about sums it up as we join Jeff Krieger and his band of hard-core watermen as they push the limits of the sport by trying to hook and land marlin from their kayaks. It is truly amazing to witness how these men work together to help one another in what many thought was insane if not impossible.

Guadalupe Island located 240 miles due south of Point Loma is our favorite place in the world to fish. The island is so magnificent with its northern cliffs reaching thousands of feet into the sky, creating its own weather patterns. Remote and difficult to get to, the island is home to some of the best bluefin, yellowfin and yellowtail fishing to be found anywhere in the world.

Guadalupe Island never disappoints and continued to produce on day-2 of our 5-day trip onboard the Shogun, as just about every bait that hit the water got inhaled. Wide open fishing on the 60 - 120-pound yellowfin kept everyone pinned to the rail. Captains Aaron Barnhill and Russ Brazwell along with the entire crew had their hands full trying to keep up with all the action.

Welcome to day-3, as the sun dipped behind the island, the guys switched over from fly-lining the tuna to dropper-loop fishing for the island's world-famous mossback yellowtail and were instantly rewarded with most baits being instantly pounded on by these hard-fighting monsters in a bite that lasted all night. With first light the tuna charged the boat again, and it was WFO on the yellowfin.

We pick-up the action fishing Guadalupe Island right where we left off, in the middle of the night, in the middle of a wide-open bite the island's famous mossback yellowtail. Just as first light struck, the tuna charged the boat again, and it was another wide-open bite on the yellowfin just as most guys switched back to their fly-line gear.

In the early 1950's, Cabo Blanco was the undisputed marlin capital of the world with 1000-pound fish being a norm rather than an exception. Part-2 of Fishing Assult Down the Baja picks up on our coverage of this 9-day, long-range trip to fish along the ridge and out to the Alijos Rocks off the Baja Peninsula with Owner/Operator, Art Taylor onboard the Searcher continues to just keep getting better and better with non-stop, rail-pinning action on the yellowfin tuna bite.

This epic 5-day trip out to Guadalupe Island, located 240 miles from Point Loma onboard the custom-built 95' Searcher with Owner/Operator, Art Taylor at the helm served up the action. Running out of Fisherman's Landing in San Diego, we loaded up with bait and headed south to wail on the kelps for some dorado before running overnight to the island for a grip of fish that were ready to bite.

Part-2 of this 5-day trip with Owner/Operator Art Taylor of the Searcher continued to concentrate on fishing the home-guard yellows around the island before swinging off course a couple miles to feast on a loaded kelp for some nice dorado. Almost every bait that hit the water got bit and the action is virtually non-stop as we wrap-up our coverage fishing Guadalupe Island, México.

We just made it south of the boarder on this trip as we join Legendary Owner/Operator, Captain Frank LoPreste onboard the Legend with Operator, Joel Ralston behind the helm running out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay for a trip to the Coronado Islands, Mexico for some shallow-water rock fishing before hitting the kelp beds for a robust, local offering of bass, barracuda and bonito.

This action-packed episode features coverage of fishing in Roca Partida, BCS, Mexico onboard the 90' Polaris Supreme running out of Fisherman's Landing in San Diego. The wahoo were on the chew, as were a nice grade of yellowfin tuna as Pete Gray of Let's Talk Hook-up Radio and Clete Takahashi both got their butts handed to them by these hard fishing fish.
