Prime Video Accepted Payment Methods
You can use a variety of payment methods to pay for Prime Video subscriptions and purchases.
Prime Video customers can pay for their Amazon Prime membership, Prime Video subscription, Prime Video add-on subscriptions and Prime Video rentals and purchases using the following payment methods.
For Amazon Prime memberships:
- Credit and debit cards are accepted in France, Italy, Spain, India, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, Australia, Netherlands, Sweden, Belgium, Singapore, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Luxembourg, Poland, and Portugal.
- SEPA can be used in France, Italy, Portugal, and Spain.
- Gift cards and selected promotional codes can be used in France, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Canada, Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Luxembourg, and Portugal (except during sign-up on PrimeVideo.com).
- Net Banking, Amazon Pay Balance, UPI, and POD are available in India.
- Zip Pay (BNPL) is available in Australia (when signing-up on Amazon.com.au).
- Pay with Cash is available in Mexico.
- iDEAL is available in the Netherlands.
- Customers in Brazil can pay for annual Amazon Prime memberships in installments using a credit card.
For Prime Video/Prime Video add-on subscriptions:
- Credit and debit cards are accepted in India, Brazil, France, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Canada, Chile, Australia, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Poland, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, Luxembourg, and Portugal.
- Digital Wallet payments are available in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Colombia.
- UPI is available in India.
- Pay with Cash is available in Mexico.
- iDEAL is available in the Netherlands.
- Customers in Brazil can pay for annual Amazon Prime Video Channel subscriptions in installments using a credit card.
For Prime Video purchases and rentals:
- Credit and debit cards are accepted in India, France, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Canada, Netherlands, Chile, Colombia, Sweden, Belgium, and Poland.
- Credit cards are the only accepted payment method in Brazil.
- iDEAL is accepted in the Netherlands.
Available purchase methods are displayed during the checkout process – but customers should also have the card they wish to use set up in their Amazon Wallet.
