The Kingdom

In the first episode of Exodus, a voice calls out to Karen in a nightmare: the Kingdom needs her help. She joins forces with Bulder to track down the hospital’s most difficult spirit. Chief physician Helmer Jr.’s first day is met with humiliation as it becomes clear he is hiding a personal agenda.

The demonic Grand Duc haunts the Kingdom as it prepares for the annual Pain Management conference. Helmer Jr. is faced with a set of new and bigger problems as he seeks comfort from a secret group in the basement. Karen has a vision that helps her search for the mysterious voice calling out to her.

Despite Grand Duc’s attempts to put a stop to her quest, Karen enters the spiritual depths of the Kingdom where her task is finally revealed and the mystery of Mrs. Drusse’s fate is solved. Helmer Jr. realizes not everything goes to plan when an encounter with Dr. Naver turns physical.

Helmer Jr. launches a terror attack on the Kingdom and its Danish inhabitants, though he is challenged by problems of a more private nature that land him in legal troubles. The madness is driving him to the point of no return. Evil forces continue to challenge Karen and Bulder’s task.

The great demon Gran Duc lurks in the shadows. Karen, Krogshøj and Bulder race against the clock and receive unexpected help from above in their attempt to carry out Exodus. The time has finally come to cleanse the Kingdom of its evil spirits once and for all… but much could still go wrong.
