John Cusak stars as gothic writer Edgar Allan Poe in James McTeigue's fictional imagining that puts the author on a mission to stop a serial killer who commits a string of murders based on Poe's stories. Set in 1850s Baltimore, the thriller also stars Alice Eve, Luke Evans, and Dave Legeno.
