Emily Harrogate seems to have it all: beauty, brains, athletic talent, and a loving family. But when the teenager dies from a fall down the stairs, it looks like murder. DCI Connor begins to reveal cracks in the Harrogates' happy-family façade: an obssessive-compulsive mother, an adulterous father, and a jealous stepbrother.
