After another attempt on Jerry's part to elude Tom, Jerry overhears Rick and Ginger talk about the possibility of getting rid of that "useless cat". When Ginger sounds like she's considering the possibility, Jerry can't believe his ears!

Tom and Jerry are in the middle of it when Tom hears someone singing the tale of a cat who met his unfortunate, painful end chasing a much superior opponent. The song is about underestimating your opponent.

Tyke's got a painful splinter in his paw and since Tom was charged with watching him while a sickly Spike naps, Tom's tasked with trying to remove the splinter before Spike wakes.

We open on a sold sign in front of what will be Rick and Ginger's house. Inside, the house is empty just Jerry, who slip slides merrily across the bare floors until the front door opens and Rick and Ginger arrive in their new home.

It's Tom's wedding day! He's getting married to Toodles in a backyard wedding we're experiencing thru the eyes of his best friend, Jerry. Purfect in every way, then everything falls apart.

Hildie is mixing a batch of foot balm that'll soften and beautify her gnarly-looking feet. She has Tom rub it in. Unfortunately, the foot balm is a little too strong and makes her foot disappear.

Ginger accidentally backs her car over Butch's tail. She brings the alley cat into her home until he's feeling better. Butch is finally getting what he's wanted, much to Tom's chagrin, especially now Ginger's having him take care of him.

Tom and Jerry can't sleep because of the incessant barking from a dog somewhere in the city. If they have any hope of shut-eye, the two grumpy, sleep-deprived detectives have to find the noisy mutt.

When Spike's poker playing pals go missing, he hires the cat and mouse detective to find out where they've gone.

Tom is in the basement of a manor shoveling coal into the heater when the butler beckons the cat. He asks Tom to rid the upstairs of a mouse before the owners return. If Tom succeeds, he'll live and work the rest of his life upstairs.

A cat and mouse ends with Tom taking a shot to the kisser that knocks the cat out. With first aid, Tom awakens a kung-fu master. Now Jerry, Tuffy and Spike must reverse whatever happened to Tom to make him so lethal.
