The untold story of one of the most influential cities in the history of music. From 1920 until today Kansas City has influenced music. Beginning in the 1920s with the evolution of Jazz and Blues from prohibition through the establishment of Kansas City as a Folk hotspot with the Vanguard Coffeehouse. The 1990's area bands were associated with the KC Sound while hip-hop artists created a scene.
