A misunderstanding leads young Macéo to getting an unusual present from his dear aunt Prune: the Alpha-Beta prototype. It is a robot, created in the artificial intelligence research lab where Prune works. Alpha-Beta was destined to destruction, as it was considered "too human". It is the birth of an uncanny relationship between the boy and the machine!
