During the laying of some optical fiber cables near the Mexican coast, some technicians are attacked by a ferocious shark. Six months later on the beaches of Colima, Mexico, the warden Ben Carpenter finds a shark tooth stuck in one of the underwater cables. Ben, aided by the young paleontologist Cataline "Cat" Stone, will eliminate the shark but will the story be over?
