Pompidou!

With no food in the fridge, Pompidou and Hove go fishing and hunting for eggs, landing in hospital when Hove swallows a bird.

Hove wins the lottery and buys himself an enormous luxury caravan, leaving Pompidou to fend for himself - which he does very badly. 

Watching "Heirloom Roadshow" on television, Pompidou sees that a Chinese bowl he gave his friend Merrick for Christmas is worth a million pounds and sets out to retrieve it by substituting an imitation.

Anxious for romantic company, Pompidou tries a dating agency and ends up falling for the owner herself.

An appalled Hove tries to sell off mounds of Pompidou's junk at a jumble sale, forcing the intrepid aristocrat to don various disguises in an attempt to buy it all back.

The caravan is bitterly cold and the repair man refuses to come and fix the electric heater, leading Hove to suggest that they go on a sunny holiday.
