The movie is based on the life of well-known poet Mirza Ghalib. He is a poet in the Royal court. There comes a point where he feels that his poems are being unappreciated by the royal court. This leaves him baffled. His life changes when he falls in love with a beautiful courtesan named Chaudhvin who is awe with his poetry.
