The film traces the lives of three people who are affected by this event, but are unrelated to each other. Luziane, a barmaid, still receives money from the dead woman and hopes to sell off her valuables. Cristiano, heir to a soybean empire, finds the body in the endless fields. In order not to endanger his mother's political career, he has to make the dead person disappear.
