Line of Separation

At the end of the Second World War, the small town of Tannbach is split between the hands of the Americans and Russians, and the lives of those who live there are all thrown into doubt.

The town is thrown into disarray when the Russians begin work on the policy of dispossession - reassigning the land owned by the few to the many. But is their approach too hard-lined, or will it win over the people of Tannbach?

Tannbach is divided down the line of the river. Conflicts become personal as friendships are compromised. Friedrich and Anna face their greatest challenge yet.
