In 1960s Tuscany, a young Sicilian single mother, Anna, marries an older coarse delivery man. Unbeknownst to her, he has been moonlighting as an antiques thief. When he is surprisingly arrested for his crimes, Anna finds herself falling for his sensitive stepson.
