Simbu and Sonia Agarwal, study in the same college and both fall in love with each other. Simbu's father Rajkiran is a man who values humanity over religion, Sonia's father Nasser is a religious fanatic. Naturally, he is dead against the love affair when he learns of it and tries to separate the love couple. Whether the lovers unite or not is the rest of the movie.
