Shauna makes plans with a potential new love interest. Patty takes a major step in getting answers about the BRCA gene. Rylee shares her coming out story and creates a comic book, which she intends to share at NYC Pride.

Shauna, Rylee and Naiyh go on a girls' weekend getaway to New York City to celebrate Shauna's birthday and attend the Pride March. At home, Mark and Patty enjoy a kid-free weekend and discuss the girls moving out.

Tara and her fiance, Jesse, are in town, and the family helps them with wedding plans. Then, while at a batting cage, Shauna brings up painful childhood memories. Shauna's online friend visits, and they make sushi together as she learns more about him.

While Mark and Patty are out of town, the girls throw a toga party. Shauna gets sassy on an adventurous date with Dan. Then, Shauna and Niayh make progress with their fashion line.

While Shauna bartends at a charity event, a love triangle brews as both Dan and Thomas show up. Later, the family goes wedding dress shopping with Tara, and Patty shares the emotional results of her BRCA test.

Shauna takes the wheel as she finally heads to her driver's test. Then, the family comes together for a photoshoot at a sunflower farm, and Mark and Patty suggest Shauna does a trial run in NYC as she grapples with the decision to apply to fashion school.

Shauna and Rylee move to Brooklyn for a trial run of living on their own, but Shauna's migraine may dampen the excitement of their milestone. Then, Shauna faces a big decision on whether she will pursue school or travel the world with love interest, Dan.
