Hindenburg: Death of a Leviathan

May 1937, on the eve of World War II, the giant German airship Hindenburg approached its final destination just outside New York. Suddenly, the pride of the German air industry, and of Nazi leader Adolph Hitler, exploded into flames. Within seconds, the huge leviathan is consumed by fire. This spectacular end to the airship era is recounted through newsreels, historians, and dramatic reenactment.
