High Alert

Welcome to Johannesburg. A city of renowned crime rates and a violent past. Yet amongst all the darkness is a family who protect the streets. Meet the Eblem brothers, Zaine, JP and Moolie as they clean up the streets one bust at a time.

The team investigate a claim that an occupant at one of their complexes is selling drugs. When the Nightguard team knock on their door, the suspect appears to be trying to clean out their apartment.

After an armed robbery at one of their complexes, the Nightguard team investigates the kidnapping of one of their guards. After reviewing the security camera footage, they try to get more information from the tenants that escaped. This kidnapping epidemic seems to be growing fast and the boys need to find out why.

The Nightguard team set up an undercover operation in reaction to the increase in bicycle thefts from the shop of one of their clients. Trevor is fitted with a hidden camera and sent to cycle the areas where many cyclists have been attacked, while the team track the bikes' movements with a cellphone tracker on Duran's phone.

Out on a bike ride, JP's friend gets pushed off the road by a taxi. JP responds to the friend's call for help as the situation spins out of control into a full-on assault.

JP, Duran and Jacques manage to retrieve a missing girl's cellphone ID from her mother, and it starts tracking it to a location in the northern suburbs, close to an informal settlement. They spot the missing girl's car and as they approach, a male suspect flees from the vehicle.

The Nightguard team attend a charity event and get called out to a panic alarm. They head to the scene and arrest the thief, while the rest of the team stake out an intersection which has been a hotspot for smash and grab robberies.

After a few incidences with a tenant at one of their complexes, the Nightguard team decides to go knock on the door. At first the tenant seems to comply with their request, until his girlfriend decides to make a bigger scene.

Mike and Justin head to a shopping centre to check out reports that vagrants are selling narcotics on one of the street corners. The rest of the team receive a panic alarm from one of their vacant building sites as two people attempt to enter the property.

The Nightguard team receive a tip that a group of Nigerians are dealing narcotics at one of their complexes. The team investigates and discover that it's a way bigger operation than they thought.
