Cold cuts

In the subway, Alphonse Tram finds his own knife stuck in the stomach of a stranger with whom he had just struck up a conversation. Compassionate but hardly troubled, he decides to return to the empty building where he lives with his wife. Sadly, he discovers that his wife has just been killed.
