This drama portrays the life of the economically backward class of labourers from the Mumbai cotton mills. The game of greed and consumerism played by powerful entities like trade unions, political parties and big businesses, causes a wave of mass unemployment in the working class. Consequentially, this leads to an outbreak of rage and hatred in the form of violent uprisings.
