Bidyesh, the envy' is the story of two warring families of Roys and Choudhurys. Pratap's brother and sister-in-law are murdered. Pratap thinks his fiancée Anima's brother and father are the culprits and kills them. Pratap's niece Teesta falls in love with Akash, Anima's nephew. The tension between the families builds up.
