Aspiring editor Lucy Stanbridge (Aubrey Plaza) desperately needs a bestseller to save the sinking publishing house she inherited from her father. When she discovers the company is owed a book by Harris Shaw (Michael Caine), the reclusive and cantankerous author who originally put the company on the map, she looks to him for one last stab at salvation – resulting in the book tour from hell.
