In an old B&B in a sleepy seaside town, there lives a vampire, a werewolf and a ghost determined to live a quiet, human life. But lurking in every corner of society there are vampires ready to rid the world of its humanity. It's not easy protecting a newborn child from marauding vampires when you're a ghost and a couple of werewolves, but this is what our heroes must do - whatever the cost.

Hal, Leo and Pearl -another vampire, werewolf and ghost -turn up at the house on a pilgrimage to visit the baby Saviour, in the hope that she might save dying Leo. Annie is convinced that her ward has the powers to do so, but Tom isn't so sure.

Hal works at the café but his encounter with the vampires introduces an alternative proposition.

Kirby, a charming ghost from the 1970s, is apparently sent by Nina to help look after Eve. He immediately charms Annie. However, when a doctor is called out to check on the baby, Kirby gives him a heart attack and becomes clear he has come to harm the child.

Youthful-looking vampire Adam returns with his middle-aged, sensible girlfriend, headmistress Yvonne. Despite initially believing the household to be delusional, Yvonne has a strange effect on Tom and Hal, giving them erotic dreams and causing them to fight over her.

Annie accidentally kills a neighbor; Tom falls for a geeky werewolf.

Tensions run high when Cutler takes Tom firmly under his wing. He's got big plans for Tom -together they're going to be history makers. Hal's wicked past catches up with him and he finds himself led down a path of temptation. Having succumbed to drinking blood, Hal's second date with Alex doesn't exactly go to plan.

The heroes come between the Old Ones and global destruction.
