Young filmmakers are involved in the rebirth of Algerian cinema annihilated by 1988 civil war. This spontaneous generation denounces the deterioration in Algeria on the verge of implosion. In France, their elders such as Lyes Salem, Malek Bensmail, Nadir Mokhnèche question their dual French-Algerian identity and build a collective memory.
