Ken plans are disrupted by his National Service call-up. After enlistment and the Basic Military Training, Ken appears to be highly demoralised. Ken gets to know a group of people through BMT. They undergo harsh training, and friendship starts to develop . They begin to and appreciate the importance of NS. At their Passing Out Parade, they take the oath to protect Singapore with their lives.
