Gabe Walker is an experience mountain climber who is traumatised by the tragic disappearance of a young woman who fell off her rope when he was trying to save her. Eight months after this accident, his girlfriend tries to convince him that he is indispensable to the Rocky Mountain rescue team. Suddenly she gets an SOS: a plane has crashed and the survivors are calling for help.
