The story revolves around Mercedes, hired as a housekeeper by Silvia the widow. In that same house arrives Jaime, a backpacker with nothing left who ends up as the handyman. Due to a series of events caused by the lonely Silvia, employees fall in love and end up as a couple. Silvia as being the mastermind behind that relationship, is convinced that Mercedes and Jaime's baby is hers.
