Convicted (1931)

On an ocean voyage, a producer and his star come to conflict as he makes an unwelcome pass. Getting into a card game, he is a heavy loser and accuses a gambler Roy Fenton of cheating and threatens to get even. That night he is murdered. The ship's captain asks criminologist Bruce Allen to investigate the case.
