Guy Fieri brings together the top prospects to host the next big food road show, but if they want a chance at stardom, they'll first have to prove they can back their show idea with the necessary cooking chops in the kitchen.

Guy Fieri asks the prospects to pick a dish that they would feature on their show and describe it to camera. But it's much harder than it looks on TV, and the challenge sends one prospect packing.

Guy Fieri brings the prospects onto the set of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives to see how he hooks viewers with the show intro. Then they have to shoot an intro for a restaurant that they would feature on their show.

Guy Fieri puts the remaining prospects to the test by bringing them to Las Vegas and putting them through a hilarious but educational exercise that involves interviewing different types of chefs.

The remaining prospects head to NYC to hone their show concept into a sizzle, a pitch tape that explains a show's concept. Their sizzles will be screened by Guy Fieri's closest Food Network chef friends.

The final prospects shoot their pilot episodes with Guy Fieri, drawing on everything he's taught them throughout the competition. Then Guy sends the pilots to Food Network while the prospects head home to wait for the news.

After the winners of Guy's Big Project were revealed in the finale, the top two pilots are shown back-to-back in this one-hour special.
