After seven years in a high security prison for the murder of his wife, David Collins (Lee Ingleby) is released on a technicality. Able to start his life again, David hopes to finally be allowed to mourn his wife's death. DI Cathy Hudson (Angel Coulby) heads a new investigation to find the real killer, bringing dark secrets to the surface. But one question remains: is David truly innocent?
