Woodpeckers: The Hole Story

Woodpeckers come in 239 species, each one a colorful character with a story of its own. These birds call, but they do not sing. Instead, they drum on trees to send out messages. They use a chisel-tipped bill to drill into rotting trees looking for insects to eat. The Hole Story explores these abilities through the stories of woodpecker families across the world. Narrated by Paul Giamatti.
