Sumru settles in southeast Turkey to research Anatolian elegies for her music thesis. Over the months she develops a strong friendship with Ahmet who helps her going through an exhaustive collection of testimonies. Her work brings back painful memories of her missing Kurdish boyfriend and with Ahmet they set on a trip to look for him. The film is a reflective journey through past and memory.
