Sandie is a twice divorced mother from England. Her wedding video has 1 thing missing, the groom. Charles Mamou is on death row for murder. Sandie has had up to 30 prison pen-pals, and fell in love again with 28 year old Reginald Blanton. He is on Death Row, found guilty of shooting his friend in the head. Reginald has lost his final appeal and his execution is imminent. Sandie will be there.

Michaela is a twice divorced mother from England. She has been 'dating' Jody Lee Miles for 18 months and is recently engaged. Jody has been on Death Row in Maryland for 12 years for shooting a director in the head. He admits to the shooting but says it was in self-defence and Michaela believes him. Michaela is making the trip to Maryland to meet Jody for the very first time.
