Ram walks over, picks up the bow, strung it, and plucked the bowstring with great strength that it broke into two halves.

King Janak sends his messengers to Ayodhya where Ram's family resides, to send a marriage proposal on behalf of Sita's family.

Lakshman is very impressed with Urmila and breaks his vow of not getting married and agrees to marry her.
