Archie Macdonald remains pledged to Glenbogle, his family castle in the Scottish Highlands, but rebellious tenants, local vendettas, and scheming golddiggers must be confronted as he strives to make Glenbogle a thriving tourist attraction. And then, of course, there's Hector, his unruly and mischievous father, who finds ever more elaborate ways to frustrate his son's endeavors.
