Two Elephants

Kay the elephant was celebrated when she arrived at an Indiana zoo in 1929. Twenty-five years later, she was labeled a killer, traded, and forgotten. Bunny the elephant lived for decades at the zoo until a plan to send her to an elephant sanctuary divided the community. These elephants teach us universal lessons about elephants in captivity and remind us that every elephant has a story.
