In frozen Siberia, Sean Vann and his crew of American and Russian loggers battle sub-zero temperatures, cold war machinery and each other, as they strive to make their fortunes and save their families.

Sean scrambles to get his operation up and running as the Colonel demands the first wood from the forest in just two days. The pressure to deliver strains the relationship between the Russian and American loggers causing an all-out cold war.

Sean Vann and his crew of loggers face eviction from the Siberian forest by their Russian timber boss. In order to up production, Sean risks his life to bring a Soviet-era cutting machine across an ice bridge on the frozen Yenisei River.

Halfway through the season, Sean Vann and his crew finally have their sites on half million dollars of timber. But the first signs of spring threaten to derail their plans and Colonel Panchuk drops a bombshell that could shatter their dreams.
