Chasing Clean Food

Alicia DuCote heads to south Louisiana to meet with three different types of seafood farmers. Starting with an oyster farm, she learns about cage culture and then heads to the marsh to catch alligators. Ending the episode driving a crab boat, Alicia visits with one of the area's top fishermen.

Alicia DuCote visits an aquaponic farm in central Arkansas and a hydroponic farm in Shreveport, Louisiana. She then visits the seed company that supplies her farm, Raccoon Bend Farms, with heirloom seeds.

Alicia DuCote heads to East Texas to Regen Ranch and learns how organic turkeys are raised and processed. Then she swings by one of the few organic feed mills in Austin, Texas, before heading home to a neighboring farm that raises organic chickens.

Alicia DuCote visits a cattle operation south of her farm and learns about regenerative farming. She then heads to Texas to visit a Wagyu ranch and helps with the ultrasounding of ribeyes in live cattle. The episode wraps at the only dairy in northwest Louisiana, and Alicia learns about A2 protein milk.
