The King's Guard: Serving the Crown

In this episode, the seven regiments of the Division begin preparing for the biggest national event in generations - the Coronation of King Charles - as well as operationally supporting the Ukraine in their bloody conflict with Russia.

We follow Garrison Sergeant Major Vern Stokes, who has one last chance to rehearse the Coronation to avoid any potential catastrophes on the big day.

The Division are also on the hunt for a new ceremonial drum horse, after one of the huge animals suffered a serious mishap during the Coronation.

We meet the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment's new Commanding Officer, Matthew Woodward, as he prepares to oversee the biggest ceremonial event of his career, King Charles' first state visit after his Coronation.

The Household Division are once again are at the vanguard of history as they prepare for King Charles III's first ever state opening of Parliament. In this complex ceremonial operation, the eyes of the nation and the world are on the Household Cavalry's Mounted Regiment as they escort the King.

As another year for the Household Division draws to a close, this has been one of the most remarkable and busiest years on record.
