After the failure of the family business, the Im family moves from Seoul to suburban Muji County but find that life there is much more complicated than they imagined.

After sharing their struggles with the pastor of the local church, Father Baek Jung-ki offers them a place to live. Im Sang-jin can't deal with bullying at school and commits suicide.

The Im family grieves the death of Sang-jin. The police refuse to investigate and declare the entire situation a tragic accident. Father Baek pays special attention to Sang-mi.

Sang-mi's mom has a nervous breakdown and the family takes her to see a shaman to heal her. They can't afford the shaman's fees and instead turn to the church at Guseonwon for help.

The Im family is drawn deeper into the Guseonwon church and its teachings about New Heaven's God and His healing abilities through the so-called Living Waters. Sang-mi tries to escape.

Three years after Sang-jin's death, four former classmates see Sang-mi in a passing car. She is only able to whisper two words: save me.

Sang-mi's father locks her in her room until she repents of her sins while her classmates try to investigate the church. The boys call the police but the officers are unwilling to help.

It becomes increasingly clear to Sang-mi that the Guseonwon church is really a cult. Father Baek and his disciples have an uncomfortable interest in Sang-mi.

The boys stage a rescue for Sang-mi from her father and Father Baek's disciples. Father Baek punishes them and instructs the police to investigate the situation as a kidnapping.

The police find and "rescue" Sang-mi, returning her to Guseonwon. Sang-mi realizes that she has to bring down the church from within.

Sang-mi and the boys discover that Father Baek and Guseonwon influence more than just church members -- they guide the actions of the police and local government as well.

One of the boys, Suk Dong-chul, goes undercover to infiltrate the church. A policeman has a crisis of conscience and starts to investigate the church. Father Baek threatens Sang-mi.

The boys reveal the true identity of the cult. Meanwhile, strange signs start appearing inside the Guseonwon church.

The boys try to rescue Sangmi, but the cult's abilities brings difficulties... Meanwhile, Sang-hwan decides to tell the truth of Guseonwon to the world…

The secrets of Muji County are revealed. Meanwhile, a full-fledged battle begins between the boys and Guseonwon.
