Those Who Kill

Jan Michelsen investigates the disappearance of a young girl, and finds connections to a case from ten years earlier. Louise Bergstein, an expert on serial killers, is called in to help with the investigation. (Nordic Noir, Thriller, Best of Crime)

Jan and Louise try to identify the person behind all the kidnappings and focus on Anders Kjeldsen, a man who has previously been arrested for rape.

Jan and Louise discover three women with their fingers cut off on a farm connected to Anders Kjeldsen. Emma and Julie try to escape.

Louise realises that the perpetrator is not working alone. Emma manages to get in touch with the homeowner, Stine, and tries to persuade her to help her escape.

The dress that belonged to Natasha, the first victim, is found, and it turns out that Anders has been keeping it hidden. Meanwhile, Stine is losing control.

Anders is officially wanted for the crimes, and Louise suspects he has a female partner. Finally, the three women on the farm are identified, and the police realize where they may have met their killer.

Stine is arrested but denies any involvement, claiming that she is also one of Anders Kjeldsen's victims. Emma and Anders are still missing.

Jan and Louise find a dead body, and Louise is convinced that Stine's family is in danger. The trail leads them to a house where the police have hidden Stine's parents and brother.
