In Bombay, Kumar, a renowned stage actor, meets and marries Meena, the daughter of wealthy contractor Verma, during a trip to Darjeeling. After her father's death, Meena's behavior changes, and she is eventually killed. Inspector Ashok investigates, discovering Meena's secret relationships and raising suspicion on Kumar.
