Beowulf: Return to the Shieldlands

Heroic legend Beowulf (Kieran Bew) gallops through the epic and mythical Shieldlands, to his childhood home of Herot, hoping to set right past wrongs. It's a race against time for Beowulf as he seeks to protect the town from a killer, be it human or beast...

Herot is bustling as the town makes preparations for the Gathering at which the next ruler of the Shieldlands will be elected. Koll, the deputy Reeve, joins Beowulf in the hunt for the killer and their enquiries lead them to the Golden Hall. A member of Rheda's riding party fails to return to Herot.

Beowulf and Rate ride into the forest to search for Slean and Thane Scorann; Rheda is pressured.

Beowulf and his gang undertake a mission to cement Rheda's position of power.

A new crisis arises when Gorrik's daughter becomes ill, and a deadly creature holds the only cure.

With Slean and his uncle Abrecan failing to warn Herot about the Wulfing Raider attack, the marauders arrive at the peripheries of an unsuspecting Herot and set their Barghest wolves free to terrorise the town.
