Six months after a dreadful motorcycle accident, Natsusa finally returns to school. Unfortunately he has to repeat his first year of college and can no longer play the rugby he loves so much. Even so, he cannot break away himself from it.

While the Doushisha Rugby team is pretty strong, Natsusa worries about the upcoming finals against the strongest team in their region, Koufuuin. In order to try and keep an upper hand, Natsusa goes to drag Ibuki back into the game.

Ibuki comes back to the rugby club, but the third year students don't want to accept him. Natsusa suggests a solution. Everyone tests Ibuki's skills in rugby with a intraclub match to decide if he is useless or not. A seven-month blank is hard.

Natsusa starts his dorm life with Yasunari as his roommate. Yasunari seems to hate him, which severely affects Natsusa's mood. This time, their match is against Isui University, where the rugby team has completely changed from the previous year.

Yasunari gets completely defeated by Ryuusei and is in danger of being removed from the starting line-up. His stress goes over his breaking point and now Natsusa is the only person who can help him. Of course, Natsusa is willing! For a price!

Natsusa's neck gets aggravated and he gets stuck in bed. Yuu tries to help fill the void Natsusa had left behind, but finds that he is unable to do as much as he had thought. The starting line-up gets announced and the team prepares for their match.

The tension grows as the other team is out to provoke Doushisha and mess up their plays. Seiichirou's kicking problem worsens while Taisei's hatred for Ibuki starts to affect the match. Natsusa apprehensively watches on the sidelines with Yuu.

Natsusa's depression gets blown away when Seiichirou suddenly tells him to stop coming to matches. The two of them begin to fight and Ibuki decides to take things into his own hands. It seems Seiichirou needs time to think about why he plays rugby.

Now that Seiichirou's problem has been resolved, the crew in Oita get to some serious relaxing. However, their team members back home are also dealing with various problems and anxieties. As Natsusa leaves Oita, Ibuki's mother suddenly appears.

The members of the Doushisha rugby team work together to get themselves mentally prepared for the next match. Kotori buckles under the pressure of suddenly becoming a starting member against such a powerful school. And Ibuki challenges Kazutaka.

The match against the powerhouse, Koufuuin University, begins. Natsusa nervously watches over his teammates as each of them tackle the attacks thrown against them. Kazutaka aims for Ibuki with a vengeance and Ibuki struggles for a way out.

Koufuuin continues to lead. At such an important time, Ibuki gets wounded with a bleeding injury. However, the entire rugby team has his back and they fight to turn the tables. This is it. The rush. The feeling. The best part of rugby!
