The New One

Vira Ostapchuk is an ordinary tenth-grader from a dormitory district, she lives with her father and younger brother. There is not enough money to live on, so Vera makes money in a restaurant. One day Vera sees her brother in the company of suspicious types. Vera's brother says that the boys from the district gave him the opportunity to earn extra money.

Senior Lieutenant Lysenko agrees with the director of the Vivat private school that he will take a new student to the class, Vita Korbut (a fictitious name instead of the real one - Ostapchuk). A police officer blackmails Vera by detaining her brother and forcing her to spy on her classmates to find out who is distributing the new drug "hype".

At the request of senior lieutenant Lysenko, Vera sneaks into the utility room of the chemistry room at night to find a drug lab. Vera does not notice that she is not alone in the utility room. The next day, a chemist faints in a chemistry class. She was taken to the hospital and diagnosed with a drug overdose "hype".

Vera learns that the car with the numbers of the GANG belongs to Roman Zhuravsky. Vera Vera already witnesses the abduction of a math teacher. Unknown people run away in a car with a sympathizer of Roman, it is hard for her to believe that he is behind the dark things that are happening at school, although all the evidence points to Roman.

Vivat is preparing for the annual Queen of the School competition, in which Roman Zhuravsky's Gang will perform. The winner will receive a cash prize. Anna-Maria, a classmate of Vera and Roman, wants to win. She needs money, they have financial problems with her mother, but the girl does not tell anyone about it.

A new victim of "hype" is at the Vivat school. This time it is Roman and Vira's classmate, Irynka. Roman finds the unconscious girl in the toilet and calls an ambulance, but finds himself under suspicion because they find packages of drugs in his personal locker. Meanwhile, following the policeman's orders, Vira fraudulently obtained Roman Zhuravsky's fingerprint.

Vera intercedes for Roman and covers for him, not even knowing that the packages found in Zhuravsky's locker do not contain drugs, but ordinary starch. Senior Lieutenant Lysenko is forced to release Roman. Vera's brother recognizes the man who framed him with drugs. He wants to go to the police and tell everything. This mysterious man is miraculously reunited with Roman Zhuravsky.

Roman's friends Sviat and Den sneak into the city hall for a charity ball. Svyat wants to talk to Gala, with whom he has long and hopelessly fallen in love. But friends witness an unfortunate incident. In the morning, the mayor's son sends Gali a video in which she is under the influence of "hype" and behaves inappropriately. The situation worsens after the video appears to all classmates.

Vera and Roman walk together for the first time, tell each other about their lives. Despite the fact that they live in different worlds, they have a lot in common. And most of all they are united by music. The Saint's younger sister, Alice, protests against the strict rules set at home by the Saint's father. Alice meets a new employee of the school canteen.

Roman learns that Vera was abducted while trying to protect Alice, the Holiday's younger sister. Roman's friends still boycott him and don't even want to listen when Roman tries to ask for help. And only the faithful driver of the Zhuravsky family, Orestes, intervenes to save Vera. While Roman is busy rescuing Vera, his mother takes his son's car from the service station and gets into an accident

Senior Lieutenant Lysenko learns that the accident with Roman's car was not accidental - someone intentionally damaged the brake cable. Police found a bag of hype pills in the car. All indications are that Roman Zhuravsky's enemies will do everything to create problems for him with the law and even destroy it physically.

The Zhuravsky driver learns that Oleg, Vira's ex-boyfriend, had to damage Zhuravsky's car to avenge his broken heart. Oresta decides to act, to punish Oleg for almost killing Ilona Zhuravska. Meanwhile, Roman's class teacher, who was to testify to the police about the "hype", comes to his senses at the hospital.

Vera and Roman are clarifying their relationship. Roman can't believe that his driver could set up and beat Vera's brother - why should she do that? Instead, Vera is convinced that Roman is cunning - all traces of the drug "hype" always lead the police to Roman Zhuravsky. Faith can no longer believe Roman. But the feelings between the characters are so strong that they can't give them up.

Dan, Sviat and Roman go to audition for the producer. He invites them to perform at the club, to take part in the battle of the group - this is a chance for the "Gang". Roman wants Vera to talk to them, but there is no connection with Vera. Orestes kidnaps Vera to explain to her what is really going on. And this truth shocks Vera, makes her look at Roman differently.

Irynka comes to Anna-Maria's hospital. She admits that she met Roman - that before the appearance of the "new" Faith in their school. Irynka offers to join forces and take revenge on Roman Zhuravsky. Anna-Maria finally realizes that she will no longer be able to re-establish a relationship with Roman. Therefore, she is determined and ready to go to the last to ruin the life of Roman Zhuravsky.

Roman Zhuravsky is accused of killing Anna-Maria. Roman does not deny the guilt, although I cannot explain what happened - he is in an inadequate condition. The police finally got the reason to arrest Roman, even the lawyer of the Zhuravsky family and Roman's father's money can't help. Vera is sure that Roman did not kill Anna-Maria.

The events of the series take place a year before the main events. The principal of the Vivat school and the driver of the Zhuravsky Orest family meet by chance at the school during an open house. The director has just received this position, he must learn how to survive in a rich world.

Dan, whose parents take him to America. Suddenly, they meet Anna Maria at the airport, who does not regret that she set up Roman. The holiday provides the police with evidence that Anna-Maria is alive so that Roman can be released. Vera decides to talk to Roman openly to finally tell him how she got to Vivat. But its openness leads to unexpected consequences.

The younger brother convinces Vera to take part in a talent contest. Faith agrees. Bogdan registers Vira and Banda. The Vivat school hosts an annual basketball tournament. Between Roman and the captain of the rival team again not only professional but also personal struggle - for the attention of Faith. Vera apologizes to Roman and confesses his feelings to him.

A month has passed since the last events. After the drug scandal, Vivat was closed indefinitely. Faith returns to her old school. The novel does not get in touch with her, it disappears not only for Vera, but also for her friends. But friends find Roman, reveal the secret of his business and persuade him not to hide from Vera.
